Stunning black jet and coral on shell inlay earring pair by Mary Frances Coriz (soon to be Aguilar).  Mary Coriz is the daughter of Mary Lovato who re-introduced the stone-in-shell mosaic inlay work in the 1950s.  This family tradition continues to this day.  The earrings are closely paired but each shell is unique.  Approximate measurement per earring is " x 1" with a 1.5" drop.  The sterling silver findings are hand-made by Mary's fiancee John Aguilar.  Weighs about 9.9 grams.  Etched initials MCF found on the back of one of the earrings.
